HAPPY NEW YEAR AROUND THE WORLD!
What a whirlwind 2018 has been, and just like the blink of an eye, the year is over. My start to 2019 was very peaceful after spending a quiet New Year’s Eve with my parents at home, enjoying delicious fresh seafood and watching the fireworks. How was yours?
2018 has brought me some incredibly happy moments, but also sad ones as I said goodbye to 2 close members in my family. As I reflect back on the year, and everything that happened, I re-affirm my faith in the saying “life goes on”. It has to. Bad things happen, and good things happen. People leave the world, and others come into the world. It’s that inevitable cycle of life.
Some amazing 2018 chapters for me included: starting a new career after a long journey in hotels, getting my driver’s license, visiting a beautiful new city, getting a sister-in-law, learning to kayak, eating amazing food, and plenty of family time.
And when it comes to resolutions, this year it’s simple: to spend more time doing all the things which make me happy – no matter how big or small. And travel, this year will definitely be my year of travel!
